Home Energy Assistance Program

I had discovered on a public radio station that the State of Ohio has a program available to some qualified candidates for utility costs.  The program is called the Electric through the Summer Crisis Program.  To qualify you must have someone in the home either over 60 or a Documented Medical Condition, aggravated by body heat.  You must apply in person at your local community action agency.

  Save Water / Energy Tips

   ü  Make sure your toilet stops running before you walk away: If not, shut off valve and contact the office for a service request.  

ü  Air drying dishes can save electricity, as your dishwasher has a heat dry which requires additional electricity. 

ü  Vacuuming your carpet regularly can prevent extra dust and debris from clogging your air filter causing poor circulation and less efficiency.

Managment would like to remind all residents that quartely filter, fire extinguisher, and smoke detector inspections are comming up in September.  We will notify everyone closer to the actual date with a resident letter.  Please make sure your fire extinquishers are in their designated spot, and accessable.  Please never remove your smoke detectors from the wall and if you have done so, please return them to their designated wall location.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
